Just saw "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" yesterday! W-O-W!! X_X I salute you Peter Jackson, for you have done it again. Now I really, really want to watch the lotr films (I borrowed them but could never find the time to finish them, so had to return them before they became overdue).
I can't gush enough over how PERFECT Peter's casting is. Richard Armitage really portrayed Thorin as best as humanly (or dwarfly, haha) possible. From the moment he first appeared onscreen, SO INTENSE. So majestic!
I didn't even know, at that time, that he was played by RICHARD Armitage, but his aura was just extremely attractive. I just love this quote "There is one I could follow, there is one I could call King!"-Balin.
Kili is the most gorgeous and most un-dwarfish dwarf I've ever seen. He looks like a scruffy ELF. O_O He's prettier than Elrond! Haha...Fili is also...too..."delicate" to be a dwarf...a lot of people complained about this, but it's OK, they're the two youngest dwarves and the film needed eye candy LOL
Ori is too adorable. Dofur is too adorable. I am now extremely fond of the dwarves...in fact I've somehow memorized all their names...first there was Dwaline, then Balin, then Kili and Fili, and then Dori, Nori, Ori, Oin, and Gloin, and then Bifur, Bofur, Bomfur, and finally Thorin Oakenshield. Well, and then Gandalf but he's not a dwarf X3
I would totally watch this again! Completely set on getting the DVD when it comes out!
